As the capital of ancient Caucasian Albania, the city of Gabala possesses a cultural heritage formed over millennia and a magnificent mountainous landscape. Our 1-day travel plan will take you away from the crowd of the city and daily worries, making you feel completely relaxed in the fresh mountain air. After just a few hours of journey, you will find yourself far away from the noisy metropolis, in the bosom of the mountains.
Gabala is distinguished by its geographical position surrounded by mountains. Dense forests, turbulent mountain rivers, high steep rocks and cool springs create the harmony of nature here. During the trip, passing through the territories of Shamakhi and Ismayilli districts, you will witness the rich forest cover and the beauties of rural life. Along the way, by watching ancient historical monuments and natural landscapes, you will get information about the nature of this land. At every step, the mountain springs you encounter, fresh air and lush green trees create a deep tranquility in people. Especially in autumn and spring months, the color shades of these forests look amazingly different, presenting unparalleled shots for nature lovers.
