During this extensive trip organized to the north-western part of Azerbaijan, you will discover the rich historical heritage, as well as the dazzling nature of the cities of Gabala and Sheki. Both cities have a great tourism potential and are always in the center of attention of both local and foreign guests. Our path will first pass through places surrounded by mountains, known for their sweet waters and surrounded by green forests.
On the first day of our trip, you will get the opportunity to relax in the bosom of the mountains known as the land of green forests. The cleanliness of the air, the chirping of birds and the silent flow of water will allow you to completely get away from daily worries. Passing through the territories of Shamakhi and Ismayilli, we will witness how different climate zones and relief change. Getting fresh air around Nohur Lake and climbing to the peaks of Tufandag to watch wide panoramas will create a special impression. We will spend the night in this quiet environment, in the fresh mountain air, listening to the silence of nature.
On the second day, we will get acquainted with the mysterious streets, historical palaces and craft traditions of the ancient city of Sheki. The shebeke (stained-glass lattice) windows and wall paintings of Sheki Khan's Palace will show you the grandeur of the khanate era. Located on the historical Silk Road and hosting merchants for centuries, our walk in the Caravanserai building will take you to the distant past. The stone walls and huge gates of this ancient building are the silent witnesses of great historical events. Also, by visiting the ancient Albanian temple in Kish village, you will learn new information about the mysterious history of Caucasian Albania. This route will give you the opportunity to get to know the important cultural centers of Azerbaijan, the customs and traditions of our people and culinary delights more closely.

Departure from Baku, Shamakhi, Ismayilli and Nohur Lake visit
Gathering at the designated place at 07:00 in the morning, moving from Baku at 07:30. After about a two-hour journey, passing through the Shamakhi and Ismayilli forests, we will enter the Gabala territory. Our first stop will be the famous Nohur Lake. There will be an opportunity to relax under the shade of trees around the lake and get fresh air.

Tufandag cable car line and mountain air
Later, we will head to the Tufandag Winter-Summer Tourism Complex in Gabala city. Here we will take the cable car line and watch the mysterious mountain panorama from a height. After spending the whole day watching the beauties of nature and dense forests, we head to the hotel located in Gabala for a comfortable rest.

Sheki Khan's Palace and Ancient Caravanserai
After breakfast, we move towards the city of Sheki. In the first half of the day, a close acquaintance with Sheki Khan's Palace will be carried out. Through the guide, we will learn about the architecture of this historical monument. Then, walking in the Caravanserai area, we will feel the atmosphere of the ancient Silk Road. We will have the chance to discover the ancient rooms where merchants stayed.

Kish temple visit and return to Baku
After leaving the historical center, we will visit Kish Village located in the bosom of the mountains and the Albanian Temple there. After obtaining deep information about the architecture and history of ancient Caucasian Albania, we will set out on the return journey towards Baku city in the late afternoon. Our trip will conclude by reaching Baku at approximately 21:00 in the evening.
